The Sun part number for the cable you need to turn it into a PC-compatible
parallel port is X975A/C6 (mini-26(M) to DB-25(M)), $80 (!) from Sun
Express. A regular PC parallel port cable will attach to this. There is
also X976A/C6 (mini-26(M) to Centronics-36(M)), $60, which should connect
right to the printer.

Subject: Sun to HP cable

We are in the process of interfacing my new SPARC 5 to my old VXR-500. Who
knows what kind of cable is used to go from the little parallel port on the
Sun to the port on the LaserJet 6P? Where to get it?

Bill
