Postdoctoral Opening for MRI/S and fMRI in Taiwan

Qualifications: Ph.D. with experimental NMR or MRI background and interest
in in vivo NMR

Equipment: Bruker 4.7T- 40 cm horizontal bore Biospec and Bruker 400 MHz
vertical wide-bore system with micro-imaging accessories (in house); also
have access, via affiliation with local hospitals, to 1.5T- and
3T-wholebody systems

Research interest: Technique development in MRI/S particularly in
magnetization transfer, ultra-fast dynamic imaging, and in chemical-shift
and heteronuclear imaging, fMRI, in vivo testing for drug design, and
disease-specific diagnostic procedure investigation (in collaboration with
clinicians)

Research Environment: Part of a research division called Structural Biology
in a
biomedical research institute dedicated to basic research, research
interest of co-workers includes: macromolecular structural determination by
X-ray and NMR, molecular dynamics simulation and structure computation;
strong and steady institutional support in resources and facilities
