The time has come to move on, say farewell to NMR (at least as a
full time occupation), and to Ammrl.
Over the last few years, I have found the network helpful on a number
of occasions, and would like to think that I have been able to
reciprocate. A problem shared is often a problem solved.
On a personal note, over the past few years, I've undergone a strange
transmutation from NMR spectroscopist via polymer physicist to synthetic
inorganic chemist. My Ph.D was in synthetic/physical organic chemistry!
The proccess began when it became clear to the powers that be that the
level of academic interference in NMR managment had risen to the degree
where I could no longer function in the position to which I was originally
recruited. (Yes, that was an attempt to start a debate.) The current move
involves the potential for some real career development. (Yes, that was an
attempt to start a debate.).
The NMR resource list will remain on my web pages for at least the immediate
future.
Best wishes to all on the network.
regards, Andy
