PhD to operate and maintain the NMR facilities in the Chemistry Department
at the University of Oregon. Instruments include Varian Gemini 300,
GN-500, and two NT-360s. Expertise in modern pulse sequences and
applications is essential. Although the ability to repair the instruments
is not required, familiarity with RF circuits and electronics, minor
troubleshooting ability, and the ability to communicate and interact with
the electronics shop is necessary. Other duties include training students
and postdocs to use the NMR instruments and teaching instrumentation
courses. Excellent opportunities for collaborative research leading to
