With the conversion of most NMR vendors to SGI computers, we see a problem
with printing/plotting from the SGI to network resident printers. Clearly,
printing/plotting to directly attached printers or printers on an SGI
network is not a problem.
SGI supports AT&T lp print deamon. We would like to make use of the Berkeley
remote queue printing capability to allow access to printers/plotters on the
network for print/plot jobs from an SGI. Is there available a script to
automatically take a print job submitted to an lp queue and resubmit it to an
lpr queue? Thanks.
