The program "convertbru" is a standard part of VNMR; if you have VNMR, you have
convertbru. convertbru works with *most* Bruker data but it does have some
problems (see buglist).

One current "trick" involves DSP data from the Bruker D-series systems. As we
have seen this data, it typically comes with a "build-up curve" (some number of
identically zero values followed by a number of non-zero values building up to
the "real" start of the FID). This is easily dealt with in our software by
using the lsfid parameter to left shift the FID by the number of points (for the
data I have seen, 71 was the right number).
