Hello, I am a 2nd year medical student doing research on CSF pH and
[Mg] values of Hiv+ patients. I am working with P31 nmr spectroscopy and using
the chemical shifts between peaks to calculate the pH and [Mg].
I do not know the equation to calulate these values. What I do know is
from the PCr - Pi shift, I can somehow calculate pH, and from the Beta_ATP -
PCr shift, I can get [Mg}. The shift is measured in either parts/million or in
Hertz. If you know the equations to solve for these,
