We are anticipating the installation of a 600 MHz , a 500 MHz and a 300 MHz
NMR spectrometers in the near future. The question I would like to pose for
the AMMRL newsgroup is about the supply of air to the NMR systems.
Of the two ways of supplying air to the NMR systems , air from the oil-
based (low maintenance) compressor and air from the OIL-FREE compressor
(high maintenance), which is better for the three systems mentioned
earlier? I would very much appreciate hearing about views and experiences
of fellow NMR managers with air compressors especially for the 500 and 600
NMR systems. To avoid heavy mail traffic in the newsgroup , I would request
