We recently upgraded all our topspin 2.1 workstations to 3.6.1 (Linux) on AV III spectrometers. It is nice to have new features. However, the frequent hang on/frozen of topspin during acquisition is very annoying, especially when users click "real time ft". No additional command or operation can be done, the error will be "a acquisition is still in progress...." . sometime you can close topspin and log in again for continue, sometimes, you can do nothing until IPSO reset.
I don't know if it is due to the compatible problem of our AV III, i did do the update of firmware. I have not got a resolution from Bruker yet. I know many labs are using Topspin/window instead of Linux. It will be great if by chance there is any one who handle the similar problem recently.
