Hello spinlanders,
I'd like feedback from anyone who has a magnet that uses a helium
refrigeration system rather than the usual helium and nitrogen boiloff
cooling of the superconducting magnet. We're specifically interested in an
fMRI system such as the Bruker ClinScan 70/30, but I would appreciate
information from anyone who has such a system for NMR as well.
What I want to know is, how often does the system require maintenance, and
(approximately) the cost of such a service visit. If you have a service
contract, the cost of that would also be informative.
Thanks
