AMMRL: qtune on Mercury VX

Hello everyone,

we recently installed a Mercury VX system, with a Sun Blade running Solaris 9 and VNMRJ 1.1D software.

It is working fine, except the qtune… We have a 4-Nuc probe and it would be so much easier to tune using a graphical interface.

When qtune opens a noisy line shows up on the bottom of the screen, and there is a “peak” that shows up every so often that is right on the 1H frequency. When I try to increase the span, it reaches it’s maximum at 18MHz and gives me an error message “Invalid Acquisition Introduction”.

These symptoms were bugs listed for the qtune on Mercury Plus. So, I have already installed the patch for the system, and still no luck.

I know the qtune worked using a Solaris 8 computer and VNMR 6.1C on this system.

Does anyone know the answer to this?

I appreciate the help.

Thank you and have a great day!!

Leila
