Thanks to everyone who responded to my query about thallium. I got
several potential contacts which I have passed to the chemist who raised
the query. I also got a fascinating range of suggestions for DIY
strategies - there are some very inventive (not to say devious) people
in the group!
Thanks also to all those who reminded me of the toxic properties of
thallium (noted!)
