I have noticed after upgrading the workstations on two Inova
consoles (with 68040 cpus) to VNMR J 1.1C and later VNMR J 1.1D,
that when running 2D experiments under the old VNMR interface,
the console tends to go inactive according to the AcqStat window.
This problem doesn't occur under the VNMR J interface. Interestingly,
last year when I applied the 20x series of patches to VNMR 6.1C,
I saw the same issue arise. After applying those patches (which
backport the changes in VNMR J 1.1C back into 6.1C) I saw the
console tend to go inactive during 2Ds. Varian claims to have not
heard of this problem. I would be interested to hear from any users
who have seen the same issues with the old VNMR interface either
under 6.1C or VNMR J 1.1C/1.1D. Thanks in advance for any comments.
