Dear All,
Thank you to all who responded. Several of you mentioned the videos
produced by GE Medical. Greg Quinting in particular provided the URL:
http://www.gemedicalsystems.com/education/kanalsafety.html which made
my life easy. There are two videos - one aimed MRI personnel, i.e.
those who operate the machines on a regular basis, and the other
aimed others who might have occasion to go near such as janitors and
security personnel. We have ordered the former but not yet received
it (and class is tomorrow). They are very pricey - $150 each.
Stephanie Mabry pointed me to one on the web
http://www.radiology.uiowa.edu/MRI/ which is useful, but I was
looking for something more dramatic i.e. something hurdling through
space and crashing into a magnet causing a quench. A "Don't let this
happen to you!" type video. But I guess I would understand if no one
has made that one! We'll see what the GE video is like.
Thanks again to all who replied!
Jeff
