T1 standard

Dear AMMRL,
Is there an accepted standard sample or solution for determination of
absolute accuracy of T1 values?
A question has recently arisen as to the accuracy of T1 values determined
on one of our instruments. This then leads to the question: is there a
sample of defined composition for which T1 is known very accurately at a
given temperature (and field strength or strengths).
Please send responses to me and if there is general interest I will post a
summary.
Jeff
