On the subject of the vnmr accounting miniscript I offered as my solution,
I should point out that the script should be modified. It contains a line
which will zero out wtmpx every time you run vnmr_accounting via the
script. You probably don't want to do that unless you only run
vnmr_accounting when you are definitely going to send out NMR bills, so
take that line out if you occasionally run accounting to see how much
you're owed. I don't do a billing cycle until a couple of thousand $ is
owed. I'll touch wtmpx manually after.
NOW, I recently hooked up an external Plextor CDRW to the SCSI card in my
Ultra-10. The SCSI bus sees it fine (target 4) along with the diff box on
target 3. I have pkgadded mkisofs and cdrecord to /usr/local. I need some
spoon-feeding on making it work so the users can burn their own CDs. I can
see that there are issues with suid and vold.
