Postdoctoral Position
Bioanalytical NMR
An opening for a postdoctoral scientist is available Dr. Daniel
Raftery's laboratory in the Chemistry Department at Purdue University.
The project will primarily concern the development and application of
new methods in high-throughput NMR spectroscopy. This includes the
analysis of small molecule combinatorial libraries as well as new
methods development for drug screening. A range of NMR instrumentation
is available in the laboratory and in Purdue's large NMR facility.
The position requires strong NMR skills and an ability to work
independently and with graduate students. Interest in NMR probe
development is desired, and some familiarity with bioanalytical
chemistry or chromatography is considered a plus. Interested applicants
should send a CV, a statement of research interests and arrange for two
letters of recommendation to be sent as soon as possible. The position
is available immediately, and will last for one year, with a second year
