Hello folks,
Our physical plant this week (and last week) had
to cut power to our building for electrical upgrades.
As usual I shut down the console to the the 500
(and our Mercury 300), then came back later to
turn the console back on. In both cases with the
500, the gradient shimming is ABSOLUTELY horrible
after restart, usually requiring a new shimmap to be
made. Is this a normal occurrence, or something
wrong with the console? I note no difference in
the shimming on the 300.
Any good ideas?
