Next month we will be going for demos for high field instruments (>600 MHz).
Our interests are mostly biological (proteins/DNA/carbohydrates in
aqueous solution). In addition to the usual nD experiments what quick
1D experiments are recommended in order to judge spectrometer performance?
Obviously samples of ethylbenzene in acetone or chloroform are of very
limited interest to us......but things like water supression are.
I know people use things like dilute solutions of lysozyme in water
but wonder if anyone had better ideas. Ideas for quick nD experiments
welcome as well.
