Take a cheap 400 MHz sweeper and put a mini-circuits frequency doubler on
the output. You can also use a directional coupler and the bridge to look
for the probe resonance.

Subject: RF Sweep Generators for 750 MHz

Dear AMMRL members,

A colleague has asked me where he can obtain either an RF sweep
generator and reflection bridge or an antenna tester (of the Morris
Instruments/AEA/Bird Electronic type) for tuning probes and filters at 750
MHz. I would appreciate if anyone could provide a source for such an
instrument.
