Hi Shawn,
Logging in to the master controller should be as simple as `rlogin master1`
in the terminal.
The last time I troubles like this I had to reflash the controller. Instructions
on how to do this are found, in OpenVnmrJ installations, in /vnmr/adm/acq/Controller_Reflashing.pdf.
It requires a null modem cable and a serial port on the flashing controller.
If you can’t find the file on your system I’m happy to send
the pdf directly.
Someone else might have a less drastic solution to try first but we had good
success with this approach before on a DD system when we were trying to install
OVJ 3.1a. If you've got a VnmrJ installation I can't promise that this will
behave the same way; it might, I've just never tried it outside of OVJ.
