I would very much appreciate any suggestions on how to fix this problem.
Last week one of our users got their liquid sample in the probe, shim stack, and spin stack. He said that a small hole opened in the tube when it was above the magnet. I took the probe, shim stack, and spin stack out of the magnet and cleaned the best that I could. I then put everything back and tried to shim using “topshim 3d”. Unfortunately I get the error “The z gradient does not work”. I have checked the connections to and from the gradient amplifier 4 or 5 times. I ran the gcutest and it came back okay. I restarted the console and PC. I have done “ii” and “cf” a few times. There are no red leds in the console.
Any ideas of how to troubleshoot/fix this.
