Hi Folks,

There’s some old but much-loved NMR equipment at my previous lab in Cambridge, MA, that is headed for the dumpster by year’s end.

I thought the DMX console might be useful for parts for someone with older Bruker spectrometers.

Or the whole thing for do-it-yourself-ers in physics labs with special needs and probehead-building skills.

Everything is available for cost of shipping, with a strong preference for the DMX console to go in one piece.
(ie: I’m not sure there’s anyone to pull components out and package them up for shipping!)

Or if you’re in the Boston area, you can come by and take what you need.

Details below. Let me know if there’s any interest and I can put you in touch with people at the equipment location.

Thanks,

Ross

** Bruker DMX console:
- CCU/8, TCU, FCU, GCU, RCU1/1
- AQR
- BSMS
- 2 x BLAX300 R/S 6-242 MHz
- SE 451/600
- BGU-II
- SCM keypad
- HPPR 2-module preamp unit
- BAFPA 30 gradient amplifier
- 2 x WB highly modified 2ch probe heads
- 2 x SGI O2 host computers

The console was fully functional when last used about 3-4 years ago before being powered down.

** Bruker AMX-2 console:
- X32 w CPU/4
- BSN-18
- PTS synthesizer
- BLTX 3

This was possibly damaged in a lab fire in ~ 2005, and was replaced by the DMX console above
Its components may or may not be functional.

** GE Omega gradient cabinet for animal imaging system
- two Techron 8606 amplifiers
- two other random Techron 7xxx amplifiers

** Oxford 89mm WB 4.7T vertical bore magnet with shim set, ramped down by Dick Marsh two years ago.
He could be employed to crate it up for shipping if there’s a taker
