AMMRL: J Young tubes for SampleCase

Hi y'all,
Many of our students use J-Young tubes (or screw top tubes) to control the head space above the liquid NMR sample (for example O2 sensitive samples). Running these on sample changers of course can be a problem. For the SampleXpress, we run without the plastic shield and, for the most part, have only a few problems. We now have a SampleCase. For some J-young tubes, the gap between the carousel and the vertical transport column does not work- the tubes are too long. These are "7 inch" J-young tubes. It appears we really need 6 ½ inch tubes.

Those of you running SampleCase sample changers, if you permit the use of J-young tubes, have you encountered this problem?

Thanks,
Marc
