overflow on C13 direct detection on inova-500

Dear friends,

Our Inova-500 with vnmr6.1C recently developed a problem with carbon detection. Once we set up the direct carbon detection, the receiver overflow LED on the "Christmas tree" begin to constantly flash all the time, even there is no pulse going on. When we start the experiments, the overflow LED is always on, and vnmr complained receiver overflow, but experiment can finish with ok result. However, this does not happen if we run any proton detected experiments and the results from carbon decoupling seems to be fine.

Does anyone see such behavior on Inova before? If one has, what is the problem? Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Thank you.

Wei Li
