Hi Igor,
This sounds kind of like something that comes up occasionally. Usually
when I run into this it's because topshim has not completed correctly.
When topshim starts it puts the BSMS into a "locked" state and then releases
it when it finishes. If topshim doesn't complete properly it doesn't
release the locked state and you see messages like this.
You might not have to reboot the whole BSMS to clear this condition.
The next time you run into this, open the bsms keypad in topspin and click
the service tab. Put in the super secret password 1964 and some buttons
should show up. There should be one down at the bottom that says
something about unlock bsms. Click that one and see if it gets you
back to normal operation.
If it is because topshim is getting hung up, you might try a software update
or you might look at the topshim logs to see if it's getting hung up
somewhere--we have run into issues in the past where the antivirus software
on the computer interfered with topshim just enough that it wouldn't work
right.
