Hi Alvaro

Sure you will get lots of input from this group as Helium Recovery is a hot
topic.

We have written up what we did here on our website ( https://nmr.tamu.edu/HeliumRecovery.php )
you can find other sites that have done this too. Yale was probably one of the first
to put their system on the web, many facilities including us have takin insight from them.

We have a high pressure system here and we did lots of testing as we were installing the
tubing. We saw not increase in pressure in our lines during helium fills even when the
systems were in the same room. Therefore you just use safety popoff valves to protect
the plumbing from over pressure. So no back pressure controllers of any kind, this works
for us but may not for your system. We have a large gas bag so that probably helps too.
Our gas bag has an inlet from the NMR's and s separate exit port for the compressor. We
like this because there is no way our compressor can pull on the tubing and therefore
our magnets. If the bag "empties" our compressor will shut down.

Hope that helps a little.
Greg
