I wanted to thank everyone for the great suggestions!

Shortly after writing to AMMRL, I decided to try TMC one more time. I
finally got in touch with Ken McKay <ken.mckay_at_ametek.com>. He was the
most helpful person I've interacted with in a long time, his father is a ND
alum. Unfortunately TMC doesn't sell just the diaphragm disk that I need.
He put me in touch with John Hahn <johnhahn_at_cazent.com>, an independent
Varian NMR engineer from East Syracuse. After a wonderful conversation
with John, I have a quote in hand and hopefully parts on the way soon!

I'm certain our troubles are caused by the shutdown earlier. If I hadn't
turned off the air and left the magnets floating all would be well, but
maybe it's all just borrowed time anyway. Thankfully we have a great
community that steps up when the corporations fail us because it's not
economically viable for the business.

Thanks again everyone!
