Dear Friends,

In this extraordinary time, full of challenges, we unfortunately have some heartbreaking and terrible news to share.

We are incredibly saddened to announce the untimely passing of our dear friend and colleague, Melanie Rosay. Melanie passed away on November 16 after a long illness, and is survived by her husband, Paul, and daughter, Kate.

Melanie was a remarkable force within our community. She will be remembered for so many things, her scientific contributions, her pursuit of excellence, her indefatigable spirit … but many of us will recall first her laughter and many stories of happier times, the pieces of wisdom she shared, and the kind heart and friendship that she gave freely to us.

Next time you hear about an exciting DNP result, or find yourself on a ski slope, hiking trail or out for a run, please give Melanie a thought and wish her well.

Rest in peace, dear friend … you will be greatly missed and always remembered.

We apologize to anyone we may have missed in the email list. Please feel free to share.

Chris & Sophia
