Hello all,
As the subject indicates, I can't get Icon to send emails. Brand new install of CentOS 7 and TS 3.6.2 (although, I have never been successful in getting Icon to send emails on any previous installs either - usually CentOS 6 and TS 3.6.1). MICS is successfully sending emails with the same smtp settings so I know the outgoing account is good. The error in the TS history is:
29-14:42:21.931 xwish3 : Couldn't send email to <deleted email address here>
Subject: IconNMR test 11 Sample Measured
Error: couldn't open socket: Name or service not known
"Couldn't open socket" points to a firewall issue to me, but I tried opening the standard smtp ports to no avail, and, again, MICS is sending email just fine.
I suspect I am missing something simple but am not sure where to look. Anyone able to help?
