We are seeking a talented and highly motivated individual to join our
Research and Development – NMR Team, with particular emphasis on our
rapidly expanding Hemostasis portfolio of diagnostics. You will report to
our Principal Scientist - Instrumentation.
Responsibilities:
· Develop, evaluate, and optimize NMR signal acquisition and
processing methods
· Participate in the development of NMR detection probes,
spectrometers, and magnets
· Plan, review analyze, and document data, algorithms and
experiments
· Participate in research and development efforts into targeted
areas of new applications for T2MR
· Participate on multi-disciplinary project teams in a matrixed
product development environment
Your technical skills and abilities will include:
· Ph.D. in a physical science specializing in magnetic resonance
methods, signal processing, and instrumentation
· 3+ years post-graduate experience
· Demonstrated accomplishments in NMR hardware development with
application to biological or chemical systems
· Expertise in the use of complex data analysis tools (e.g. MATLAB,
JMP) for interpretation of NMR observables
· Established track record for productivity, particularly recent
peer-reviewed publications
Our ideal candidate will possess some or all of the following:
· Demonstrated expertise in magnetic resonance instrumentation
design, fabrication, and testing
· Experience in low-field NMR and the interpretation of relaxometry
data
· Low power, portable instrument design
· Experience applying NMR to biological systems
In addition, you will:
· Have a track record for innovation
· Succeed working in a team-based cross functional organization,
· Demonstrate a history of working successfully outside your
comfort zone
· Be highly self-motivated, an excellent communicator, highly
analytical, and
· Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain
focus on deliverables
