Colleagues:
I wish to use 207Pb NMR to calibrate my MAS probes (Chemagnetics, circa
2000). However, I have a couple of questions:

a) What precautions should be used in handling the material? From the MSDS
data it is apparant a faceshield, gloves, and labcoat are advisable, but how
strong an oxidizer is it? Can it be packed into a rotor sandwiched between
Telfon tape without incident?

b) In the papers I have, no one seems to spin faster than 3 kHz. Is there a
problem spinning faster?

I will post any responses I receive.

Thanks,
Bill
