Hi,
during the couple of the last weeks, Bruker changed the method of
licensing for the Linux release of Aurelia. This causes some trouble,
but fortunately the problems are easy to solve.
The background of the problem consists in the fact, that XWIN-NMR
up to the actually available release 3.1 uses an home made
licensing scheme, whereas Aurelia beginning from release 3.1
uses the well known flexlm method.
Both methods require different license files, but you can mixe them
in the correct order. The Bruker license lines must begin in the
license file followed by the flexlm created lines.
Below is an exemple. The host ID for the node locked licenses
are taken from a Linux box, whereas the host ID for the flexlm
part is taken from a SGI machine. I made some slight changes
for some critical parts of the file. -)
As soon as release 3.5 of XWIN-NMR is available, the trouble
is over, because the new release uses flexlm too.
