A postdoctoral position is available immediately to study the
fundamental aspects of heme metabolism carried out by the enzyme heme
oxygenase. The successful candidated will conduct spectroscopic studies
(particularly NMR spectroscopy) of the heme and verdoheme complexes of
heme oxygenase. Experience with inert atmosphere techniques is a plus.
A Ph. D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related area is required.
