Pasternack (714-261-1920) is a great source for cables
and adapters.
Minicircuits (800-654-7949) is a good source for mixers and
small cheap
filters and amplifiers. Merrimac is a good source for things
like
directional couplers, phase shifters, and dividers/combiners.
Narda also
has this type of product but their frequency range is higher
than a lot of
NMR uses. For high power wattmeters and attenuators, Bird
Electronics is a
good source.

A year ago, we bought some inexpensive (but good) attentuators from
Mini-Circuits
P.O. Box 350165
Brooklyn, NY 11235-0003
1-800-654-7949
The quality seems high, and they are much cheaper than most places...
cost
was about $16 each

Well, I get my attenuators, loads, and terminators
from JFW Industries, Inc. at 5134 Commerce Square Dr.,
Indianapolis, IN 46237. Their phone number is
(317) 887-1340. Web site: <http://www.jfwindustries.com/>
and e-mail to: sales@jfwindustries.com.
JFW Industries is the manufacturer of the
programmable attenuators in Varian NMR
spectrometers.
Cables one can just buy the raw cable stock,
crimping tool, and connectors from an electronics
supply house such as Newark and make them as
needed, or one can buy fabricated cables from
places like Newark. However, the best place
I've found for fabricated cables with the
largest selection of connectors and varieties
has been Pasternack Enterprises at P.O. Box
16759, Irvine, CA 92623. Their phone number
is (949) 261-1920.
For coaxial relays, any more I go to Dow-Key
Microwave Corp., 1667 Walter St., Ventura, CA
93003; phone: (805) 650-0260.
Of course, for any other components, I go to
MiniCircuits.
