If you have NMR TA positions in your Department, (a) how many of them are
there (for how many instruments), and (b) how are the people selected to
fill them?
For example, in this Department we have 1 NMR TA position (for 6
instruments) which has been filled in a variety of ways: from volunteers,
to rotation among research groups, to being assigned by the person who
assigns all TA positions. I am curious how this is done elsewhere. I will
summarize any responses I receive. Thank you.
