I would like to reach out to you with a request for assistance.
I am an engineer in the NMR department at University of Cologne.
Unfortunately, the BVT-3000 temperature control unit on our 600 MHz NMR
spectrometers with an AVANCE III console has failed. The unit appears to
be completely dead and shows no response at all.
As some of these temperature control units were kindly offered free of
charge to non-commercial research institutions through this forum
earlier this year, I would like to ask whether anyone might still have
an unused, functional BVT-3000 unit available.
We would be very grateful for any support in this situation. A loan
would also be very helpful for us. The spectrometer is expected to
remain in operation for approximately another one to two years; after
that, we would of course be happy to return the unit.
At the moment, we can only operate the system without temperature
control, which significantly limits the range of possible measurements.
If anyone has a suitable unit available for donation or loan, we would
be very grateful to hear from you.
