Hello Everyone,
We noticed today that we have some ice on the exterior of the nitrogen
exhaust line (500 MHz Bruker Ultrashield) see photo attached. I just wanted
to make sure this is not something I should be concerned about.
It's warming up and we have had a lot of rain these past few days (Western
Massachusetts) so I am just thinking some condensation formed on the line,
and since it is near the metal nut connection to the green tube it got
colder than anywhere else so ice formed.
Additional context,
I do not feel any flow of nitrogen near the connections when the ice is removed.
A nitrogen fill was done today, the day the ice was noticed.
We had a normal amount of helium use from last week.
I just wanted to reach out to the minds of AMMRL to see if I should contact
Bruker about this or if I can tell people its okay.
Sincerely,
Silas
P.S.
Thank you everyone who responded to my last question, sadly by the time I
received the emails I had restarted the system and it cleared the error. If
the issue of the acquisition running message appears again I will let you
know how that goes.
