We are experiencing weird lock failures on our 600 MHz NEO system. The system
will lock and topshim on a samples (in IconNMR) and then fail on a sample. This
happens independent of solvent and is not due to low volume or ‘dirty’ samples.
This was particularly challenging while attempting to run the lineshape sample.
Locking and shimming worked on a H2O/D2O and a ethyl benzene/CDCl3 sample but
would not run on the CHCl3/acetone-d6 standard sample. We have reset the
calibration in topshim.
The PC (running Windows 11) is ‘running slow’. Sometimes it
will take a second or two to complete a command in Topspin- even for getprosol.
Occasionally, there is a minute delay while waiting for a ‘thread’ to finish.
There is also an error installing the 'iqvw64e.sys' driver. Based on some
discussion boards, people don't think this would affect operation.
Not sure if this is an issue with our lock settings or calibration in Icon
or is this some kind of PC/communication thing.
Anybody experience similar issues?
