Hi Everyone
We started upgrading before Bruker released any real info about this process.
We tried Alma on a brand new workstation with 3.6 on an Avance III nano bay,
obviously it did not work lots of communications issues etc. When I reached out
to Bruker they asked if I had released the original codemeter license
(XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX)? I had no clue what that number was because who
would have thought I would need to release it and reassign it to the new computer.
Anyway had to give Bruker all of my Codemeter container numbers and they had to
look up the actual license numbers for me. Not only did I not keep the license
number from my older systems that I upgraded, the new systems that Bruker installed
I was not given this number either. Anyway, once we got those and the Bruker
repository info we have only had minor linux issues. I have one more system to go
and it is an Avance III, plan on doing it Monday, so maybe back on here telling
you guys I have the same issues.
