Hello all,
We have a research group that wants to start working with depleted
uranium. I would be interested in hearing from other labs that have had
such samples and what types of precautions you have implemented.
I meet with the university safety people tomorrow. They have said that if
a sample breaks in the magnet, "the magnet would have to be ramped down
for surveys and cleaning."
