Dear friends
Recently, I am going to set up the 103Rh NMR in my Bruker Avance 600 spectrometer with 10 mm low-frequency probe. However, when I tried to record the 103Rh NMR spectra with saturated Rh(acac)3 CDCl3 solution, I have found it difficulty in obtain 103Rh spectra with a 2 s recycle delay. When I increased the recycle delay to 60 s, a weak signal was observed in around -20 ppm. Judging from the literature, it seems inverse HMQC detection may be better for the 103Rh. Therefore, I have some questions:
(1) Is it possible to observe 103Rh NMR with ZG30 pulse sequence in saturated Rh(acac)3 CDCl3 solution? If so, what kind of experimental condition is reasonable, for example, recycle delay, pulse length, pulse sequence, sweep range as well as o1p?
(2) I have read several literature, somebody has tried to record 1H{-103Rh} HMQC spectra in several compounds which may shown no direct proton bound to 103Rh. I am a little curious about the reason.
(3) How to set up the HMQC with gradients to indirectly observe 103Rh, for example, J value, gradient strength? I am really looking forward to find supports from all of you.
Best regards
