Thank you very much to all of you who responded to my request with very
useful information. Thanks to you now I feel much more comfortable with
the current situation. First, I learned that Magnex had a "nice" habit
(policy?) of not leaving the rods with a customer (at least such a
policy existed during last few years of their operation). So I can
relax and stop blaming myself for misplacing the rods. Second, I was
provided with a few names of companies which should have all necessary
equipment and expertise for repairing Magnex magnets. I am going to
monitor the magnet closely and use one of these contacts if the
situation gets worse. Thank you once again.
