Stuck Lock Scan button in VNMR J 1.1D

Has anyone else ever run into this problem (and more importantly
figured out how to resolve it)? I have one user whose account under
VNMR J 1.1D has developed an apparently stuck Lock Scan button in the
VNMR J interface. When you start up VNMR J, it works normally with
the exception that the Lock Scan button appears slightly depressed
and doesn't respond when clicked upon. Interestingly the Fid Scan
button next to it appears dimmed. None of the other user accounts
suffer from this problem (which occurs in all experiments for the
problem user account). I am assuming this is due to a incorrectly
set global variable in the problematic user account but have no idea
which one it might be. Any advice would be most appreciated.
