Dear friends,
I meet a spin problem in our liquid inova 400 NMR instrument. Spin rate value of sample shows zero on the status window, though I can confirm the sample is still spinning using the flashlight. According to the old archives published in ammrl website, I has cleaned rotor, barrel, adjust bearing airflow(increase from 0) and change different rotors, but the detection about spin is still zero. I doubt the spin sensor is broken. How to check it using multimeter? I found that there are 4 wires related to tachometer near barrel. I checked the resistance between any two wires near barrels and found that the resistance is infinite. Whether sensors does not work or all wires are disconnected?
Could you have some other ideas?
