NMR imaging no longer features in the plan for the bright new SCRI, so
after 31/5/04, there will be a 300MHz Bruker AMX SWB imager available
for sale or uplift.
All offers considered - could subdivide.
Magnet
7.1 T vertical Bruker superconducting magnet with 150 mm bore mounted on
~1m legs to accommodate long samples, e.g. growing plants.
Gradient Control
Standalone gradient cabinet contains pre-emphasis unit and three BAFPA
40W gradient amplifiers
Probes
1) Microimaging probe with inserts with coils of diameter: 25 mm (2,
one drilled out to accommodate long samples); 20 mm; 15mm; 10 mm; 5 mm
and 3 mm (transverse). Gradients replaced Dec 1996
2) Doddrell birdcage SWB probe, max sample diameter 65 mm - in need
of some attention
Variable Temperature Unit
77K - 480 K for use with microimaging probe only
Console
Original X32 and Aspect 3000 still soldiering on
Serviced and maintained by Bruker
