circuit design

Dear AMMRL members,
I want to build a specialized probe for
solids work. It should have 2 channels, one
around 40 MHz, the other one around 400 MHz,
with CP capabilities.
Since I do have the design of the body and can
have that built quite easily by our machine shop,
I am interested in finding someone who could
put the circuit in for me. I've recently built
one of those at 100/400 MHz, and discovered that
making something at 400 MHz is - at least for
a simple chemist - exceedingly difficult. Finally,
I got it to work, but the background is bad and now
one of the 1H capacitors is arcing.

I would like to avoid going through that again.
I talked to Doty Scientific, but since the tuning is
the most difficult part, it would be almost as expensive
as just buying one from them, and unfortunately, my
budget won't allow me to do that.

So my question is: does anybody know of anybody who
might be specializing in building reasonably priced rf circuits
in existing probe bodies?

Thanks for your help.
Tanja
