Roche Bioscience, Palo Alto, CA is recruiting for an NMR Spectroscopist.
Experience with Bruker spectrometers is very desirable. We have 600, 500,
400 and 3 300 MHz AVANCE systems,
a Gilson liquids handling system, and an HPLC-NMR system, all running with
SGI computers. The NMR Group
supports pharmaceutical research (85% discovery, 15% pre-clinical) and is
responsible for structure elucidation of
small molecules. This position will be responsible for instrument and
computer maintenance, designing and executing NMR
experiments in support of pharmaceutical research, and consulting with
scientific staff on the use of NMR spectroscopy.
Nominally, we are looking for a Ph.D. but will consider other applicates
with appropriate experience.
