ALMA meeting

Dear Spinlanders -
     For the few of you who hadn't heard and might be interested,
notice just arrived of the annual meeting of the Analytical
Laboratory Managers Association Oct 31 - Nov 2, 2001, near Houston,
Texas, with the theme "Beyond Motivation to Engagement", with several
workshops and an evening dinner cruise on Galveston Bay. As an
engineer, this meeting does not particularly appeal to me, and
perhaps not to you, but you might want to pass it on to your boss. A
way to get him or her out of the lab for a few days over Hallowe'en.
