AMMRL members,
We at the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center, University of Georgia,
have developed a new, more "user-friendly" version of our web-based
Faces Scheduling System software. It is designed to facilitate the
scheduling of scientific instruments and other resources in a research
environment, and serves as a web accessible sign-up sheet.
The entire service is hosted here, so resource managers do not need to
install any software on their own server. Opening an account is a two
step procedure, and managers can set-up their own resources and
schedules.
Please go to our web site at: www.ccrc.uga.edu/web/tp/first.html
and click on the "join up" tab to establish a scheduling account. After
filling in the form you find there, you will automatically receive an
email with your log-in information. This procedure establishes you as a
'manager' and allows you to create a set of schedules and a list of
authorized users.
Hosting the service at the CCRC allows us to improve and update the
software. We have taken care to increase the security of the system, so
your scheduling information will remain safe and private. Please
contact Saeed Roushan ( roushan_at_ccrc.uga.edu) or
Will York ( will_at_ccrc.uga.edu ) for more information.
Thanks.
